Op I can see my purchases back to 2008. I did the following. open the steam client. Use the mouse cursor and left click on your profile name to the top right of the steam client window. Notice a drop down tab should be open, select account details.
From this menu locate the first field box of data. select view purchase history. Scroll down to the bottom of the purchase history page and select load more transactions.From here you can use print screen or just copy all text and past it into a field and you have a work around. You can also check this on the steam webpage and just select control + P to print.
